Because exercising sometimes isn't burning as much in the way of calories as a dieter would hope, they sometimes take exercising to extremes. You will be in danger of hurting yourself, heart issues, dehydration, and you will not benefit from it.

When you are doing crunches, press your tongue against the top of your mouth. With your tongue pressed into the roof of your mouth, it will engage your neck's muscles and keeps them aligned while you are exercising your abs. You can prevent injury and strain if you do this.
